Distilled in a double pot still, this exclusive edition reveals a delicate and elegant peat, dosed at 50 ppm. Its unique character is refined through careful maturation in three types of casks: bourbon, sauternes, and STR, all from the same distillation in October 2016. Limited to only 1,150 bottles, this rare small batch embodies the art of exceptional whisky. Yeun Elez is also a dive into Breton legend. Nestled in the heart of the Armorique Natural Park, the Yeun Elez marsh is known as the Gate of Hell. According to Anatole le Braz, it was here that the souls of ghosts were imprisoned in the body of a black dog, which the young Jobic guided to the gates of Hell to seal their fate.
