Distilled in 2006, this Aultmore was aged for 16 years in oloroso sherry casks before being bottled at its natural 65.50% proof. This Speyside single malt has a fruity, stewed profile, opening with notes of dates, nuts and leather.
Aultmore is a historic Speyside distillery, founded in 1897 by Scotch whisky pioneer Alexander Edward. It was built in a secluded spot near a stream called the “Ault More”, from which it takes its name. The distillery is known for its rich, complex malt whisky, often described as slightly spicy, with ripe fruit aromas and a touch of grain. Today, the distillery belongs to the Bacardi group and remains a discreet but respected player in the whisky industry.

Signatory Vintage unveils a new series, “Symington's Choice”, showcasing the most exceptional casks from Pitlochry's cellars. This series is an opportunity for Andrew Symintgons to reaffirm the mastery of selection, maturation and richness of Pitlochry casks.
