BOSQUE Alta Montaña

ARGENTINA - BOSQUE CRAFT GIN - Ref. 66044
  • 0,5l
  • 53%
  • Case of 4
  • Packaging ETUI
The Bosque Alta Montaña gin is directly inspired by the 'Cerro Dos Picos,' the highest mountain in the province of Chubut, Argentina. It's a striking gin, notably for its high alcohol content (53%) combined with an exceptional concentration of Patagonian herbs, perfect for enjoying in cold temperatures. Bosque Alta Montaña was awarded the title of ' World's Best Contemporary Gin' in the the 2022 World Gin Awards.

The wild juniper berries used for the maceration of this gin are handpicked by farmers from the Andean region of Argentina (El Bolsón, Lago Puelo, etc.). Other aromatics from Patagonia provide herbaceous and floral notes: grapefruit, lemon verbena, orange blossom, clove, lemon, cardamom & coriander.

This gin is prepared through a 48-hour cold maceration to achieve a subtle extraction of the different aromas from the botanicals. Using a triple-distilled corn alcohol, a fourth distillation is performed, extracting only the heart (the purest alcohol part) to bring out the full flavors of the distilled plants.

The Bosque Craft Gin distillery holds the international B Corporation certification (B Corp) due to its involvement in tree protection, reforestation, and job creation in the isolated regions of Patagonia.

Bosque Alta Montaña is suitable for making the classic gin and tonic, but it is especially appropriate for strong cocktails (Negroni, Dry Martini) and sipping neat.

The gin is contained in a beautiful 50cl bottle with measuring levels on the side and with a wooden stopper.
