Distilled in 1998, this Braes of Glenlivet was aged for 25 years in American Hogshead refill and bottled at 60.10%. This Speyside single malt has a delicious, vibrant profile, with aromas of honey, toasted almonds and baked apples.

Braes of Glenlivet, now known as Braeval, is a Speyside distillery. Founded in 1973 by Chivas Brothers, it is perched around 350 metres above sea level, making it one of the highest distilleries in the region. This isolated location, nestling in a narrow valley, gives the distillery a unique character, sheltered from modernity and in harmony with the Scottish landscape.
Braeval is best known for producing an elegant, delicate whisky, with notes of ripe fruit, honey and flowers, often associated with Speyside single malts. Most of its production is used for blending, particularly in Chivas blends. However, some single malt bottlings are offered in limited editions under the Braeval name, offering enthusiasts the chance to discover a rare and refined whisky. The change of name from Braes of Glenlivet to Braeval has helped to differentiate this distillery from other Glenlivet producers and to underline its own identity.
