The Braes of Glenlivet distillery was lost in Speyside, deep in the wilderness and far from the villages. So far away and so high up in the hills that in winter the farmers had to clear the snowy road to reach it. At night, a single distiller watched over this still unknown single malt, made using pure water from the Preenie well, located three kilometers below the Braes hills.
