The Bunnahabhain distillery is unique in that it produces two types of single malt, one peated, with a phenol content of between 35 and 45 ppm, accounting for 45% of its annual production, and the other unpeated. In the second category, this version selected for the 20th anniversary of Whisky Live Paris, bottled at natural strength and aged in oloroso sherry casks, is literally spellbinding. The three stages of tasting are intimately interlinked, creating a particularly shimmering array of aromas and flavours, with the many nooks and crannies teeming with treasures, just like the empty glass, rich in spices and medicinal notes.
