Aged in second-fill barrels, this whisky incorporates a distillate from the first cuts of distillation.
The signature character of the Clynelish distillery is enriched here with tropical notes thanks to a unique experiment: a cut of the distillate taken very early in the distillation process, when exotic notes dominate. We call it the “pineapple cut.” Aged for at least 18 years in second-fill casks, this single malt reveals notes of ripe, juicy pineapple that enhance the wax and honey characteristics of Clynelish. A bright and relaxed expression.
