Le Soleil is a luminous and vibrant gin, inspired by the major arcana of the **Tarot de Marseille** that embodies clarity, vitality, and harmony.
At the heart of the recipe is a classic base of juniper, coriander, angelica root, and orris root, giving the spirit its structure.
To this base are added fruitier notes: blackcurrant, used in two forms - dried berries and young shoots - creates a contrast between vegetal freshness and tangy intensity.
One of the most distinctive elements is Frambozen Rood rhubarb, grown in open fields at Domaine de La Source by Mathieu Vermes in Saint-Riquier, in the Somme. This rare variety, both fruity and lightly tart, brings a juicy dimension to the gin.
To complete the composition, thyme flowers harvested by the producers of the SICARAPPAM cooperative add a subtle yet persistent Mediterranean touch that extends the freshness on the palate.
Like all the distillery’s creations, Le Soleil is crafted exclusively from plants grown in France, with particular attention paid to origin and seasonality.
