The Domaine des Hautes-Glaces distillery was founded in 2009 by Frédéric Revol, an agricultural engineer and oenologist who decided to produce a farm whisky using biodynamic principles. In 2017, the purchase of the estate by Rémy Cointreau opened up new horizons. In June 2020, a new distillery with a capacity of 70,000 hectolitres of pure alcohol a year was inaugurated a few kilometres away. Produced from the Vulson parcel, this version has a disconcertingly natural aroma and flavour of incomparably fresh green barley. To this must be added the perfect osmosis between the distillate and the white wine from the Roussane grape variety that the cask had previously contained.
