PJ Rigney continues to innovate by offering a new ceramic version of one of his now iconic products: Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin Sardinian Citrus.

Thousands of kilometers away from the Land of the Rising Sun, P.J. Rigney, founder of The Shed Distillery, found his inspiration in Italy to create his Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin Sardinian Citrus. There, he discovered a variety of citrus endemic to Sardinia, called Citrus Mostruosa or Pompia, with smooth, distinct, slightly bitter, and of course, zesty notes. P.J. Rigney immediately recognized the potential of blending this ingredient with those used for his gin. A new expression was born, presented in an elegant and refined ceramic bottle.

PJ Rigney has always been a traveler, journeying from his family lands to unknown places, seeking inspiration. His travels took him to the wild and pristine lands of Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim in Ireland. It was here that his curious mind, filled with Eastern traditions of fruit distillation, herbs, and botanicals, began to work. He created The Shed Distillery, using medieval copper pot stills, and embarked on a quest to blend the Eastern botanicals he discovered during his travels with those of the Irish lands.

This new ceramic version of Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin Sardinian Citrus is a modern, high-quality bottle with a clean and inviting design. It completes The Shed Distillery's range of ceramic bottles
