Casked in July 2015 at the Distillerie des Menhirs—established in Plomelin since 1986—this bottling offers a beautiful expression of pure buckwheat whisky. Double distilled in direct-fired Charentais pot stills, it highlights a rare, low-yielding local grain whose character comes through with remarkable precision. Maturation in oak casks from the Brocéliande forest supports its evolution without overpowering it, gradually establishing a harmonious balance between herbal freshness, ripe fruit, and oaky tones. The tasting reveals a harmonious palette blending fruit, floral notes, sweet spices, and resinous accents.
