In 2026, Distillerie des Menhirs celebrates its 40th anniversary, 40 years of boldness, innovation, and creativity. To mark this milestone, the distillery has brought together two of its most iconic creations, both born from the vision of Guy Le Lay, father of the current owners. After maturing for three years in French oak casks, Eddu Pure Buckwheat Whisky is finished in casks that previously held Pommeau de Bretagne. For those unfamiliar with it, Pommeau is a traditional liqueur crafted by blending cider brandy with fresh apple must. It was first created at the distillery 40 years ago. With EDDU Héritage, the character and depth of Eddu whisky meet the smooth, fruity sweetness of Pommeau, creating a harmonious expression that delights the palate.
