Silver is the very first signature of the Breton distillery Eddu. Aged for 5 years in French oak casks having previously contained cognac, this expression is characterised by its fruity and balanced character, fleshy and unctuous. With the launch of Eddu Silver in 2002, Distillerie des Menhirs created the first buckwheat whisky in the world. The choice of this grain was clearly motivated by flavour at the expense of productivity, its alcohol yield being half that of barley and its agricultural yield four times lower.
