Distilled in the Highlands at Glen Garioch and aged for over 31 years in four first-fill ex-bourbon casks, this concentrated, complex single malt offers notes of panettone, candied peel and banana.
Angus is one of the 12 noble malts chosen to represent the Thanes in William Shakespeare's tragedy Macbeth. Each bottle in the series is adorned with an illustration by Sir Quentin Blake, who has reimagined these immortal characters as birds, all in the illustrator's inimitable style.
Livingstone and Elixir Distillers present the first act of the Macbeth range, a tribute to the play written by William Shakespeare in 1606. This first act includes nine elixirs that will allow us to wait patiently before the next four acts, for a total of 42 whiskies. Each scotch whisky in this series is based on the profiles of the characters in Macbeth, with tasting notes written by Dave Broom and labels illustrated by the legendary Sir Quentin Blake. It's a journey from Shakespeare to the finest bottles Elixir Distillers has to offer.
