Aged for 5 years in red barrels in a dry cellar and a further 5 years in a damp cellar, this exceptional cognac comes from the commune of Saint-Pierre d'Oléron. The family estate where this cognac was produced is now one of the largest on the island. This little-known terroir was once an important production area, and is exceptional in many ways. The sandy soils and salt-laden winds give the cognac its sought-after maritime accents.
