The Fireworks Collection is a unique series of 40 magnums of rare whiskies, rums and other spirits from around the world. Two bottlings are exceptionally offered in 70cl format: a single malt from the French distillery La Piautre, and a rum distilled in Barbados. A tribute to the ancestral art of Japanese fireworks, each bottle is adorned with a unique label inspired by the work of Jinta Hirayama, who revolutionised pyrotechnics in the 19th century. Ribbons, garlands and confetti, balls of light and coloured clouds... the figures he designed are collected in a catalogue dating from 1877. Inspired by these historic illustrations, the Fireworks Collection reinterprets the complex and refined motifs of this dazzling art.

Few distilleries carry out the crucial malting stage themselves. However, it is thanks to its mastery of the entire production chain that the La Piautre brewery-distillery is able to offer unique whiskies.
This cask #92 initially contained the brewery's Imperial Porter beer, before being used in April 2021 for a whisky made from barley smoked on site with Irish peat. In addition to the traditional spices (cloves, nutmeg) that are the hallmark of La Piautre distillates, the new whisky adds notes of glowing peat, coffee and cocoa, accompanied by hints of caramelised malt and warm ash.
