Sullivans Cove Double Cask is the winner of Best Australian Single Malt at the World Whiskies Awards 2018, always non-chill filtered and additive free. This single malt whisky is aged in a combination of French and American oak casks, every tiny batch expressing the unique characteristics of both styles. With incredible complexity and length, Double Cask has a rich palate of sweet malt, dried apricots, honey and freshly baked bread.
Double Cask batch number DC0101 is a marriage of portions from six different casks, ranging in age from 11 to 20 years. As well as whisky from several American oak ex-Bourbon casks, this batch also contains whisky from both American and French oak casks, which have been previously used for either Tawny, white wine, or red wine.
