A joint bottling between La Maison du Whisky and The Nectar, this version echoes the Bowmore 2001 Artist #12 from the same creation catalogue, also aged in sherry casks. Absolutely remarkable, the two expressions express a hundredfold the inimitable style of this legendary single malt from the Isle of Islay. They reveal the same greasy, oily peat, the same exotic fruitiness, the same marine character and the same superb herbaceous, vanilla and chocolate sequences. However, the notable difference is that while this version immediately displays the Bowmore signature on its aromatic palette, it is not until the finish that the Bowmore 2001 Artist #12 does the same.
