This mezcal is handcrafted from Cuishe agave, one of the most physically distinct species of agave that grows vertically as a single stem with its leaves spread at the top. Because of its unusual structure, and the stem containing the firmer piña material, Cuishe can be difficult to harvest and work with in general. This agave offers tropical fruit aromas with a dry, pungent, mineral finish.
