This single malt hails from the Caol Ila distillery on the Isle of Islay. Distilled in 2014, it was matured for 6 years in bourbon hogsheads, followed by 4 years in 110-litre ex-bourbon quarter casks. This distinctive ageing imparts rich, peated aromas of salted caramel, white pepper, and gentle smoke.
