The second permanent reference, Cotswolds Founder's Choice features the favorite casks of Cotswolds distillery founder Daniel Szor.
These are 225L American oak casks that have contained red wine, toasted and charred in a process devised by Dr. Jim Swan, a key man in the development of the distillery and a friend of Daniel.
Like all Cotswold whiskies, it is distilled from 100% local barley, malted in the traditional way.
Bottled in small batches in cask strength and fermented for almost 4 days, this expression of great aromatic power is worthy of a whisky with a certain age, with fruity and tannic notes very pleasant.
