This whiskey has been distilled three times from malted barley, unmalted barley and Irish oats, then aged in oloroso and bourbon casks. This whiskey was designed by Master Distiller Brian Taft. Unmalted barley gives a silky mouthfeel when combined with Barra oats to create a smooth, crisp finish that sets this Irish whiskey apart. This "Single Pot Still" whiskey is incredibly mellow, creamy and spicy, and tantalises the taste buds. It is the first Irish whiskey to come from the western province of Connacht for over 105 years._x000D_
