Located in the mythical town of Tequila in the state of Jalisco, the 1959 El Tequileno distillery benefits from an exceptional terroir enhanced by the volcanic, mineral-rich spring water of the Tequila Volcano, to which the distillery is one of the few to have access.
Reposado Rare is a unique, limited-edition product from El Tequileno. It benefits from a unique 6-year aging process in a large American oak cask, called Pipón, with a capacity of 25,000 liters. This complex tequila is aged as long as an Extra Anejo and has exceptional depth on the palate, with an extremely well-integrated oakiness due to the low oak/tequila contact ratio.
