The result of a long family tradition, Merlet pineau is the fruit of the harmonious union of a barely fermented grape must with cognac brandy. Aged in red oak barrels for two and a half years, this Chevessac Blanc, a blend of Ugni Blanc and Colombard, has a straw yellow colour with golden highlights. The nose, of great complexity, reveals notes of lime blossom, vine flowers but above all yellow-fleshed fruit. On the palate, a taste of peach and quince paste mingle with subtle touches of vanilla and honey.
