In 2015, Mount Gay purchased 324 acres of what were the historic Mount Gay and Oxford estates. This marked the first time since the 19th century that Mount Gay controlled every step of its rum-making process as a fully integrated operation, from soil to sip. This fourth edition, 25_04_Vt19dp, also known as SES 25_04, is being launched in 2025. This exceptional release comes from the 2019 sugarcane harvest, which was then aged for 5 years in ex-Bourbon Quercus alba white oak barrels. Bottled at 55% ABV, SES 25_04 is a compelling blend of two distinct 100% pot still distillations combined into a single, unique expression.
