Mount Gay has a new recipe for its XO in 2020. This dry molasses-based rum was distilled in a column and iron still, the distillates of which were aged separately for 5 to 17 years. The rum was then aged in three different types of casks: American whiskey casks, bourbon casks and cognac casks.
