Founded in 1997, Ninkasi brewery - distillery is at the heart of the Rhône region. Winegrower and distiller, Alban Perret traveled this famous wine regions to meet his fellow winegrowers and select the best barrels to age the brand’s whiskies. Ninkasi’s single malts are distilled from the finest malted barley, combining its expertise as both a brewer and distiller with the treasures of the wine regions.
“LAB” is Ninkasi's exclusive and confidential Single Cask range. Alban Perret's unique single casks are the fruit of his tasting and experimentation. In search of the perfect whisky, the master distiller breaks codes to create an unforgettable experience.
Ninkasi Whisky LAB 003 is the third cuvée in this exceptional range. Having developed the fruity, exotic notes of a Domaine Cuilleron white wine cask for 4 years, the whisky was matured for a further year in a white Pineau de Charentes cask, bringing complexity and a slight maderization. A complex gustatory journey that will win the hearts of whisky lovers with its intensity, velvety and oaky aromas.
