Elderberry liqueur is made from elderberry flowers macerated in black elderberry brandy, produced the previous year. At the end of this infusion, which gives the liqueur its golden color, sugar syrup and Vosges water are added. This water, which flows through a subsoil of purple schist, is extremely pure, giving the liqueur a singular strength.
