New packaging, new profile: this Port Askaig marks a new departure straight from the imagination of Oliver Chilton, master blender at Elixir Distillers. Like its predecessor, this Port Askaig is a single malt aged in American oak casks. What's new is that it is also aged in ex-Bourbon, Pedro Ximénez Sherry and refill Hogshead casks. While remaining true to the essence of Islay, this new blend offers a more mature, spicy and gourmet profile than most traditional Islay whiskies.
