Elixir Distillers unveils its Port Askaig Sherry Cask 50.5%, a unique and elegant Islay single malt. Matured in carefully selected Oloroso sherry casks, it reveals rich aromas of dried fruit, cocoa and spices, while retaining the smoke and salinity characteristic of Islay. At 50.5% ABV, it is a powerful but perfectly balanced whisky.
Port Askaig is also a harbour village on the north-east coast of Islay, the departure point for ferries and a symbol of the island's maritime spirit. This whisky captures the authentic, salty and smoky character that is the signature of Islay single malts.
