Prakaan was born in Kamphaeng Phet, one of Thailand’s oldest cities, in the heart of unspoiled nature where pure spring water is slowly filtered through underground reservoirs before being used in production. The region’s warm and humid climate provides the ideal environment for whisky maturation. Prakaan is the world’s first Thai single malt whisky.
This very first range of single malts, named “The Tribura Series” (translation: three fortified layers), pays tribute to the remains of the ancient fortified wall that once surrounded the city. Whiskies crafted by artisans proud to preserve their heritage, their environment, and a centuries-old savoir-faire.
The Single Malt Whisky Select Cask 43% is matured in oak barrels that previously held bourbon and sherry. It stands out for its smoothness and a long, elegant finish with fruity notes.
