An aperitif liqueur from the cinchona, or kinas, family, Avion d’Or is an infusion of wine made from the Italian Cortese grape variety using cinchona and orange zest, absinthe and other spices. Characterised by a subtle bitterness and well-balanced sweetness, this is a complex and refined spirit to be enjoyed on the rocks or in classic and modern cocktails. Its name is a tribute to Louis Blériot, the first Frenchman to have crossed the Channel by plane.
