Sapien is a double IPA loaded with American hops and wildly primal, taking us back to the origins of Man.
Rough, powerful, hazy and bold. This blond beer with its orange hues is unique in that it is brewed with Kveik yeast, an ancestral and traditional Norwegian yeast, which naturally brings aromas of bitter orange peel, zesty citrus and phenols reminiscent of cloves and nutmeg. The result is a beautifully fruity, bitter and resinous beer, powerful enough to ward off evil spirits and rediscover its primal bestiality for a glass.
Resonance pairings: Gazelle horn, duck with orange sauce.
Contrasting pairings: Spicy dishes, blue-veined cheeses.
